How this is worked out

Basic pay is the cell of your level in the Tripura State Pay Matrix 2018 (Notification No.F.7(2)-FIN(PC)/2018 dated 06.11.2018, Schedule I). Each annual increment of 3% moves you to the next cell, on 1 January or 1 July (Notification No.F.7(2)-FIN(PC)/2017 dated 15.06.2017, para 2.3).
DA = basic pay × DA rate, with 50 paise or more rounded up. Special pay, personal pay and NPA do not count (Memo No.F.5(1)-FIN(PC)/2021/2645-2844 dated 16.03.2026).
HRA = 8% of basic pay, at most ₹3,000 a month, under Notification No.F.7(2)-FIN(PC)/2017 dated 15.06.2017, para 3.1.1. We found no later order changing it; if your pay slip shows a different amount, choose "My HRA".
Medical allowance of ₹500 a month is for Group C and Group D employees (para 3.1.3).

How far is Tripura DA behind the central DA?
