About VetanHub
Last updated 04.10.2026
Vetan means salary in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati and Kannada. VetanHub turns state government pay rules into calculators that employees, pensioners, job seekers and their families can use on a phone.
What we do
Each state's pay rules (pay scales, dearness allowance, house rent allowance, pension and gratuity) are kept as a rules pack, and every calculator reads from it. When a new order changes a rate, we change the pack and the calculators follow.
Kerala is the first state on the site. More states will follow, each in its own language as well as English, along with Central Government tools for the 8th Pay Commission.
How we check figures
- Rates come from the issuing department's own website, usually the state Finance Department, and from the service rules.
- Order numbers restart every year, so we match each order by its number and its date, and open the PDF before we cite it.
- The calculators are tested against the orders' own tables and worked examples before they go live.
Not a government website
VetanHub is independent. It is not run by, linked to or endorsed by any government. The departments that issue the orders are their authors; we explain them and link to the official copies.
Corrections
If a figure looks wrong, the order behind it is linked next to it. Read our disclaimer before relying on any result.
